From orchards
to a new neighborhood
The Avocado neighborhood is growing in southern Kiryat Ata, next to the farmland of kibbutzim Usha, Ramat Yohanan and Kfar Maccabi. Its name is inspired by the avocado orchards that defined the area and by the agricultural story of the place.
The neighborhood plan combines homes, parks, walking and cycling paths, schools and retail, aiming to create a living environment that connects home, community and public space.
Its location on the edge of the city creates a meeting point between a new urban neighborhood and the farmland around it.
